Pre-K Immersion Teacher

María Sol is a native Spanish speaker born and raised in Manta, Ecuador. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Education through the Private Technical University of Loja (Ecuador) focusing on the processes of second language learning. Prior to joining our Center, she taught ESL classes to young children in Ecuador. As a teacher and a mother of a 3 year old son, Sol stands out for the love and patience she dedicates to her professional and personal interactions with children. Sol and her husband have a home in Bethlehem, PA. Her hobbies include reading and drawing, which she is excited to share with her students. Sol joins our team as a passionate immersion teacher and direct connection to the wonders of Ecuador!
Tamara is a native Spanish speaker from San Juan, Puerto Rico. She attended Northampton Community College and earned a Child Development Associate certification in Early Childhood Education. Tamara has over 8 years of experience in the education field and has worked with children of all ages and a variety of needs. She loves to care for infants and toddlers and enjoys watching them learn through guided play. She is passionate about early literacy and shares her love for reading with young toddlers. Tamara and her husband enjoy sports and going to church with their six children.

Nadia is a native Spanish speaker born in Lima, Perú. Her career in education and second language acquisition began at Kutztown University were she earned a BA in Education: Spanish PK-12. After being in the field, she continued her studies at Temple University, where she mastered in Spanish Literature and Linguistics. Her love for teaching and researching language acquisition inspired her to reach learners PK-16 including adult professionals. Along with her husband and two children ages 3 and 6, she enjoys traveling to visit family in Perú and Greece. She enjoys dancing salsa, cooking and listening to music. Language Project LLC and the Spanish Immersion Learning Center are a direct result of her passion for teaching language and her love for the Lehigh Valley community.

Toddler Immersion Teacher
Thalia is a native Spanish speaker from Pampatar, Venezuela. She graduated with an a Bachelor degree in Accounting while living in Venezuela. She worked as a preschool teacher at Garabatos Preschool, and she enjoyed integrating math in her daily lessons. Thalia's experiences include the implementation of a project based curriculum and the integration of math, reading, and writing throughout the program. She has cared for children ranging from newborn to school-age. She prides herself in the planing of a fun and engaging curriculum for PreK students. Prior to joining our team, Thalia worked as a caretaker for the elderly. In her spare time, she loves to draw and engage in art therapy.
Thalia brings kindness and love to our Center as she joins our immersion team.
Núria was born and lived most of her life in Barcelona, Spain. She attended the University of Barcelona and earned a Master's degree in Theoretical Physics and a Teaching Competence Certificate in Education. Since relocating to Pennsylvania in 2011, her career has focused on education through her work as a nutrition specialist at public schools in the Lehigh Valley, translating and interpreting at Lehigh University, and most recently teaching the immersion program at Moravian Academy. Nuria and her husband have two boys ages 9 and 5. As a family, they love to go hiking and travel the world. Her hobbies include tennis and running. Núria joins our Center as an experienced Spanish immersion teacher and lead of our On-site Immersion Programming.
