Nadia is a native Spanish speaker born in Lima, Perú. Her career in education and second language acquisition began at Kutztown University were she earned a BA in Education: Spanish PK-12. After being in the field, she continued her studies at Temple University, where she mastered in Spanish Literature and Linguistics. Her love for teaching and researching language acquisition inspired her to reach learners PK-16 including adult professionals. Along with her husband and two children ages 3 and 6, she enjoys traveling to visit family in Perú and Greece. She enjoys dancing salsa, cooking and listening to music. Language Project LLC and the Spanish Immersion Learning Center are a direct result of her passion for teaching language and her love for the Lehigh Valley community.

Founder/Executive Director

Núria was born and lived most of her life in Barcelona, Spain. She attended the University of Barcelona and earned Master's degree in Theoretical Physics and a Teaching Competence Certificate in Education. Since relocating to Pennsylvania in 2011, her career has focused on education through her work as a nutrition specialist at public schools in the Lehigh Valley, translating and interpreting at Lehigh University, and most recently teaching the immersion program at Moravian Academy. Nuria and her husband have two boys ages 9 and 5. As a family, they love to go hiking and travel the world. Her hobbies include tennis and running. Núria joins our Center as an experienced Spanish immersion teacher and lead of our On-site Immersion Programming.

Ms. Delgado is a native speaker born in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy from the  Universidad del Turabo . She is certificatified in Behavior Management and Music Therapy. Her diverse experiences in the fields of education and early childhood are invaluable to her role at our Center. Some of her previous experiences include Head Start, Preschool Care, and Early Intervention Therapeutic Centers. Her philosophy of education is anchored in psychosocial frameworks of child development and her work in Spanish linguistics makes her the perfect Director for our Center. She is passionate about literacy and language acquisition and enjoys facilitating speech development with interactive instructional methods. Her hobbies include traveling and photographing landscapes. Ms. Delgado brings authentic love and amazing energy to our Center. We are delighted to have her as an educational leader.

Ms. Hernandez is a native Spanish speaker born and raised in Mexico City. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology through the  Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México . Her experience in the educational and clinical psychology field make her an amazing part of our immersion team. Through the cognitive-behavioral lens, Illyan loves to develop projects that address emotional intelligence. Her background in art therapy positively influences her philosophy of education and instructional methods. Her hobbies are listening to music and taking pictures of nature. Ms. Hernandez brings a sense of serenity to our Center and takes great care of the emotional well-being of each student.

PreK Immersion Teacher

Ms. Odreman is a native spanish speaker, born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from the  Universidad Metropolitana    de Caracas . Her philosophy of education is evident through her practice of the Montessori methodology. She is passionate about “hands on” learning and exploring to connect with nature. She believes in respecting children’s curiosity, creativity, and imagination. She has dedicated most of her professional career to early childhood education, and in her personal journey, she has shared her infinite love working with animal shelters. She strives to integrate love for nature and animals in her classroom. In her spare time she enjoys doing contemplative photography, hiking, biking, and learning French. She strongly believes that learning new languages opens new worlds of knowledge. We welcome Ms. Odreman to our team and can’t wait to see all of the experiences she will facilitate at our Center.

Brigitte Odreman
Preschool Immersion Teacher

Ms. Galeano was born in Costa Rica and raised in Pennsylvania. After graduating from high school, she reconnected with her Costa Rican roots. Through her studies at the Latin University of Costa Rica, she obtained an Associates degree in English as a Second Language. Her love for early childhood education and childcare developed through her personal experiences raising her baby sister and providing her with in-home educational experiences. Her career as an educator took form through formal tutoring at the  Nuestra Señora de Desamparados  High School and the university during her time in Costa Rica. In her spare time she enjoys playing violin, tap dancing, going to church, and spending time with her sister. Ms. Galeano brings to our Center her wonderful cultural capital as well as a sense of humbleness that contributes to children’s socioemotional development at such a young age. We are lucky to have Ms. Galeano as part of the immersion team.

Rachel Galeano

Molly was born in the US and lived in Argentina as a child. She attended Cedar Crest College and majored in English and Secondary Education with a minor in Spanish. Molly is a high school Spanish teacher and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She joins the Spanish Immersion Learning Center as our Digital Store Manager working with content developers to provide the best immersion resources for schools and families looking to support Spanish language learning. Molly is passionate about teaching in the target language and combining technology with language education. When she is not teaching, she loves hiking with her husband and dog, traveling the world, and drinking mate.

She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management from the  Universidad del Sagrado Corazón  and has since worked with educational programs both in Puerto Rico and Pennsylvania. As an undergraduate, she worked as a tutor in diverse settings and with a range of students. In the Lehigh Valley, she has contributed to the early childhood field through her work in childcare and school-age academic programming. In her spare time she loves to do crafts and with her 8 year old son, she enjoys building lego robots. She joins our Center as an immersion teacher and brings with her commitment to second language acquisition, enthusiasm for onsite programs, and an incredible dose of organization. We are thankful to have her at our Center.
